The Foster Report addresses significant regulatory and business events that impact all segments of the natural gas and oil industries. Topics of interest can include, but are not limited to, production, marketing, transportation, distribution, and end use.
The Foster Report incorporates into its narratives the laws, regulations, and financial factors that drive not only the federal agenda but also local, state, and international developments in the oil, natural gas, and energy fields. The company publishes the most thorough review of activities at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and National Energy Board (NEB) of Canada.
The Foster Natural Gas/Oil Report was started on March 23, 1956 in Washington, D.C. by J. Rhoades Foster and a group of noted economists under the auspices of a new company – Foster Associates, Inc. It was originally known as the Foster Associates Report and then as the Foster Natural Gas Report. In November 2014, the Foster Natural Gas/Oil Report (now known as The Foster Report) was acquired by Concentric Energy Advisors, Inc.
Over the years it has grown and become a media source that is well-respected beyond the field of economics.
